This project was in response to the question: ‘How can Graphic Design encourage people to become more ethical consumers?’ My response focussed on the clothing industry, and resulted in an ‘ethical’ labelling system, which rated garments with a letter from A–F depending on how ethically and sustainably they been made. These labels were supported by a information booklet, and would be displayed on clothes to inform consumers how ethical that garment is, and hopefully to encourage them to buy more ethically made clothes.
